Shane’s Inspiration celebrated the opening of our 59th Inclusive Playground at Harvard Recreation Center in Los Angeles yesterday! Jackie Tatum Playground, designed by Shane’s Inspiration, was built in partnership with the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, Too Small to Fail, Landscape Structures, and the wonderful community of South Los Angeles.

This sensory-rich inclusive playground is packed with play value and has literacy prompts throughout, encouraging parents/caregivers to talk with their toddlers as they play!

The Under The Sea Theme is woven throughout every aspect of the design, from fencing to surfacing.

Playful literacy prompts in Spanish and English encourage parents to engage with their toddlers and infants while playing, thus encouraging language acquisition.

Kids and parents alike laughed and played together!
