Corporate Ambassador

We need executive volunteers to assist us with fundraising, helping us make connections to new corporations. Whether you’ve worked in the corporate world or not, creating new partnerships is what being a Corporate Ambassador is all about. We will work closely with you to guide you every step of the way.

Community Outreach Ambassador

We regularly participate in Resource Fairs to provide information to the community. If you can help work the Shane’s Inspiration table at a Resource Fair, you could be a great Community Outreach Ambassador. Another possibility is greeting children with special needs on school field trips at our playgrounds through our School Transportation Program. It only requires a half hour visit during the field trip to check in with the kids and teachers to put a face to Shane’s Inspiration. We are happy to train you to be a Community Outreach Ambassador! It’s a great way to have a flexible volunteer position with lots of variety.

Office Support

We are looking for reliable volunteers to commit to four hours, once a week in our Valley Village office. Support may include mailings, general (pc) computer work, assisting with office duties and preparing for events. It's a great way to meet other people involved with Shane's Inspiration and make a contribution to the organization's future.

Event Volunteer

Ongoing events include our Gala, 10K, Shane’s Club, and more. Spend the last Saturday morning of the month volunteering at Shane's Club, our monthly play date for children of all abilities. You can help face paint, do arts & crafts with the kids, work the registration table, and lots more. Our Annual 5K/10K takes place every September on a Sunday morning in Griffith Park. We always need lots of volunteers to make this event successful. Prefer to dress up? Then join the select few volunteers who help with our Annual Gala in March each year in Beverly Hills. More events are in the works.

For Kids Interested in Volunteering

Shane’s Club is an ideal place to get started!  We can either pair them up with another child as a Shane’s Buddy – or they can even help with the arts & crafts, helping with refreshments, handing out flyers, and more. We encourage families to come out and play to learn all about our mission
